It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Shirley Ann Berry on November 8, 2024, at the age of 76. She was born on February 28, 1948, in Seminary, Mississippi to LD and Clarsie Thompson.
Shirley met the love of her life and darling husband, Keith "Bull" Berry on October 31,1964 and celebrated 40 wonderful years until his passing in 2005. Shirley was a graduate of Mendenhall High School and a mean basketball player (#30). Shirley was known for her strong will, unwavering love and determination to her family. She made her entire life about serving others, the highlight of her life being her grandchildren. She had a servant's heart and a beautiful soul that her family will always cherish. She retired as Office Manager from Eyecare Professionals in 2011. She was a member of Pinelake.
She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Sharon Berry Clark (Sam); son, Scott Berry (Christy) of Brandon, MS; her grandchildren, Sarah Kathryn Berry, Landon David Hardwick and Rachel Lane Berry; her sisters, Gladys Pettigrew and Janice Kay (Donnie); nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will take place at Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Brandon, MS on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 10:00 - 12:00 with funeral at 12:00 and graveside service immediately following at Brandon Memory Gardens officiated by family friend, Reverend Beth Feisel.
Pallbearers will be Landon Hardwick, LeKoury Hammond, Kade Clinton, Christian Baglione, Cole Baglione and Michael Robbins.
Donations can be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
