Rosemarie Klock, 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at her home in Brandon, Mississippi.

Mrs. Klock was born February 8, 1955, in York, Maine, to Gerald Chase and Lydia Weare Chase. She spent her early years living on the New Hampshire sea coast. She later moved to Santa Barbara, California, and married Bill Klock. They met through their mutual love of science fiction books. There, following college, she worked as a medical assistant in the dermatology department at the Sansum Clinic. In 2012, she and Bill moved to Brandon, Mississippi, where she resided until her passing. Rosemarie loved people and they loved her. Everyone found her easy to talk with and she enjoyed every conversation. Her greatest love was her family and holidays. She took enormous joy in them, especially when hosting the meals. There were never ‘too many people’. She truly embraced the more the merrier. Her favorite hobbies were miniatures, working on the family tree, and online gaming as well as taking loving care of her husband and their two cats. She was a long time and avid player of World of Warcraft. She had numerous friends and was an active member of the Brandon Garden Club. There she used her skills and expertise with miniatures to create inspirational Tablescapes, that many would request tickets to seasons ahead to ensure that they had a seat at one of her tables. She volunteered much of her time at The Spot Downtown, a coffee and art shop that serves as an employment training lab for students in Rankin County School District’s Special Education Transition Program.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Lydia Chase; son, Eugene Chase; and siblings, Mark Chase and Wanda Williams.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Bill Klock; children, Shawn Lebs (Jody) and Scott Lebs; stepchildren, Cynthia Dasho (Seth), Christina Killelea (Christopher), and Tanya McLintock (Chad); grandchildren, Candice Brandon (Nick), Cru Lebs, Vincent Killelea, Owen Dasho, Anthony Killelea, Isla Dasho, and Raddek Lebs; great grandchildren, Carter Berry, and Vermillion Brandon; sisters, Heidi Harris and Tammy Chase; goddaughter, Athena Skates; as well as many nieces and nephews.
