Mr. Robert Earl Gray age 72 of Hiawassee GA passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 23, 2026 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Gray was born on August 4, 1954 in Kansas City, MO., the son of the late James Robert Gray and the late Rosie Mary Cremeen Gray. Robert retired as a Tug Boat Captain after many years of service. He enjoyed boating and playing cards with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather.

Surviving Mr. Gray are his loving wife and best friend of thirty seven years, Barbara Warren Gray of GA, one daughter, Jennifer Russell of MS., one son, James Earl Gray of MS., one stepdaughter, Samantha Moore of NC., one stepson, Jody Lynn Moore of TX., one brother, Cecil Howell of MS., his grandchildren, Kara, Brooke, Julianne, Aniston and Fagen, his great grandchildren, Nicky, Nate, Brayden, Madelyn and Jasper.
