Robert Wilson Barfield left his earthly home to be with his savior on Sunday, July 23, 2023 in Gonzales, TX. There will be a private interment on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at their homeplace in Newton, MS. Ott & Lee of Forest will be handling the services.
Robert was a lifelong resident of Newton, MS where he shared 33 adventure-filled years with his loving wife Dianna. Robert was a supervisor of a construction team by trade and was held in high regard to his employees. He loved to travel and spend time with Dianna, enjoying many roadside attractions and adventures along their journeys together. He enjoyed going fishing and spending time with his son, was an avid gun collector and could be found on the shooting range any chance he got. In his free time, you could find Robert relaxing with his wife watching his favorite movies.
Mr. Barfield is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Barfield and Elenor Barfield.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna Barfield; Son, Robert Thomas (Kianna) Barfield; Brother, John (Dorine) Barfield; Sister, Theresa Bryant; Sister Dundue Barfield; and one granddaughter.
