Riggs Lee Evans passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

Riggs was born on February 26, 2026, in Flowood, Mississippi, to Austin Lee Evans and Allye Brooke Tindall. Although his time here was short, he made a lasting impact on those around him, filling their lives and hearts with his constant happiness. He loved to play and do his “kick kick kick”, and he loved his milk, his duck lovey, and his singing giraffe, but he adored his big brother, Brooks.

Riggs is welcomed in heaven by his great grandfather, Junior Perry; great grandmother, Debbie McCrory; great aunt, Candace Tindall; and great-great grandfather, Winton Byrd.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Austin Evans and Allye Tindall; big brother, Brooks Tindall; grandparents, Hope Tindall and LeeAnn and Dustin McCrory; great grandparents, Al and Vicky Tindall, Diane Perry, Alisha and Lee Martin, Sissy Hosey, and Lee McCrory; great-great grandmother, Linda Byrd; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm and again on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm Tuesday. Riggs will be laid to rest following the service in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
