Ricky Roberts passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Ricky was 72 years old and lived in Brandon, MS.

Ricky was born on March 3, 1954, in Jackson, MS. Ricky was a dental technician since he was 15 years old. He began his career working with Blackburn Dental Laboratory, until he opened his own lab, Paragon Dental Studio, from 1991 until 2010. He then returned to work for Blackburn Dental Laboratory until his retirement in 2015.

Ask anyone who knew Ricky and the same things come up. All of the children in the neighborhood would knock on the door, not for Eric, but wanted Mr. Ricky to come out and play. Ricky loved scuba diving, Belize, hunting, watching NASCAR, riding ATVs and face-timing Evie Mae. He was most proud of his son, Eric, and also his reputation as a well-respected dental technician.

Ricky is survived by his wife of 49 years, Karen Hollingsworth Roberts, his son Eric Roberts, daughter in law Ava Franks Roberts, and granddaughter Evelyn Mae Roberts. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, JC and Lillian Roberts, his siblings Mary Joyce (and Bob Pete) Dickson, and Bobbie Jo (and William) Hester.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. with a memorial service immediately to follow at The Pearl Church of God of Prophecy, 3134 King Drive, Pearl, MS 39288. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ricky's memory to the American Cancer Society.
