Rhonda G. Mangum, 69, of Pelahatchie, Mississippi, entered the gates of Heaven on March 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Visitation will be held 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton and Thursday from 10am - 11am at the funeral home.
Chapel service will be held 11am Thursday, March 5, 2026 from the Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Graveside will follow at Leesburg Baptist Cemetery.

A lifelong resident of Pelahatchie, Rhonda was known for her strong work ethic, generous heart, and vibrant spirit. She dedicated 29 years of service to Blue Cross Blue Shield, where she built lasting friendships and took great pride in her work.
Rhonda was truly the life of the party. She was fun, funny, and had a way of making everyone around her feel welcome and loved. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence lit up every room she entered. She loved her family deeply and was incredibly proud of her daughter and grandchildren, who were the absolute joy of her life.
Rhonda’s strength, humor, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she faced health challenges in her later years, she fought with courage and grace. Through every season of life, she showed resilience, determination, and unwavering love for those she held dear.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Gray; step mother, Bobbie Gray; and sister Trina Crowley.
She is survived by her mother, Johnnie (Graham) Taylor; her brother, Trent (Landy) Taylor; her sister Shana Harrell, her daughter, Shay Shoemaker; her grandson, Austin (Jonna) Shoemaker; her granddaughters, Lauren (Brandon) Goldsmith and Ana Layne Shoemaker; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Rylan, Jovie, Kayelyn, Rivi, Riley, and Reed. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
A celebration of Rhonda’s life will be held at Ott & Lee funeral home in Morton, Ms.
