Miller

Paula S. Miller July 1, 1947 – June 14, 2026
With a heart full of love and a smile that could light up any room, Paula S. Miller, devoted wife, mother first and always, and the joyful center of her big, beautiful family, went home to heaven on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Flowood, Mississippi.
Born on a warm summer day in Danbury, Connecticut, to Joe and Rosmond Speglevin, Paula grew up surrounded by love and the simple joys of small-town life. She carried that same warmth with her wherever she went. She met the love of her life, Craig Sawhill Miller, and together they built a wonderful adventure—raising three boys, making homes in different corners of the country, and filling every place with laughter, good food, and open arms. In 1999, they put down roots in Brandon, Mississippi, where Paula’s house became the favorite gathering spot for family and friends alike.
To Paula, nothing mattered more than her family. She was a mother through and through—cheering the loudest at every game, cooking Sunday dinners that brought everyone to the table, and loving her boys with a fierce, tender, never-ending kind of love. She adored being Craig’s wife, their partnership a beautiful, steady love story that lasted through every chapter of life.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Joe and Rosmond Speglevin, and her devoted husband, Craig Sawhill Miller.
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons who were her greatest pride: Craig Miller (Cecilia), Joseph Miller (Bineetha), and Jonathan Miller. Her heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren—Taylor, Ali, Beca, Jon, McKenna, Hill, Britain, Liam, and Aria—and her precious great-grandchildren, Dallas and Ainsley. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Cheryl and Judy, who shared so many laughs and memories with her over the years.
Paula’s legacy isn’t just in the dates on a page—it lives on in the way her boys love their own families, in the stories that will be told around kitchen tables for generations, and in the warm, welcoming spirit she passed down to everyone lucky enough to call her Mom, Grandma, or Great-Grandma.
She may be gone from our sight, but her love—big, bright, and endless—will keep wrapping around us all.
