Martha Jean White, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the age of 94.

Mrs. White was born January 4, 1932, in Brownsville, Tennessee, to Wiley Heidenburg Lawson and Floy Elizabeth Jefferies Lawson. She had been a member of Crossgates Methodist Church in Brandon for over 50 years, where she was a member of the Friendly Explorers Sunday School Class.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Floy Lawson; husband, Bob G. White; twin sons, Carter and Stephen White; and son-in-law, John R. Rein.

She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Rein and Elaine White; grandchildren, Patricia Elaine Opdyke, Patrick Brent Opdyke (Anna), and Jill Elizabeth Keys (Jake); great grandchildren, Daniel Ready Opdyke (Buffy), Tyler Brent Opdyke (Hannah), Colin Patrick Opdyke, Jacob Austin Keys, and Elizabeth Lawson Keys; and great-great grandson, Lawson Webb Opdyke.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Crossgates Methodist Church, with the funeral service following at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
