Marilyn Ann Halpain, a beloved, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026, in Morton, MS at her home. Born on September 13, 1962 in Galveston, Texas she touched lives of many through her dedication to for others and her unwavering love for her family.

Marilyn found fulfillment in her role as a Certified Nursing Assistant at MS Care Center in Morton, where she enjoyed taking care of people, embodying a spirit of compassion and empathy that resonated with both her colleagues and those she served. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her professional life into her personal interests as well. In her leisure, she found joy in playing games on her phone, which brought laughter and enjoyment into her daily routine.

She was a proud and loving mother to her children, Crystal Yvonne Allen of Morton and Robert Wayne Rehrig and his wife, Dawn. Marilyn's life was further enriched by her three cherished grandchildren: Kandis Yvonne Allen, Layla Nicole Allen, and Carol Ann Allen, who were incredibly special to her. Their laughter and joy were an everlasting source of happiness in her life.

Marilyn is also survived by her siblings, James Allen Halpain, Sr. and his wife, Teresa, of Pawnee, Texas, and Sharon Denise Mize of Morton. The bond they shared, along with the memories they created together, will be dearly remembered.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee Halpain, Sr. and Gladys Ann Stokes Halpain, as well as her brother, Roy Lee Halpain, Jr., her sister, Margaret Ann Halpain, and her nephew, James Allen Halpain, Jr. Their memories remain in the hearts of her surviving family and friends.
