Lillian Caldwell Turbville

January 18, 1944 - July 25, 2026

Lillian “lil” 82 passed away at her home Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Lillian was born January 18, 1944 in Johnston County, Missouri at Warrensburg Hospital. She moved to California in 1961 and graduated high school in Pittsburgh, California in 1962. She met Billy Wayne while he was stationed there with the Navy. They were married in 1965. She spent her time sitting and helping others in need. She was a member of Trace Ridge Baptist Church.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne; their son Tommy Wayne; her parents Nellie Elizabeth Vanwinkle Caldwell and George Thomas Caldwell; and also her brother George Dale Caldwell.

Survivors include her sister, Mary Wolf (Terry) of California, sister-in-law Marie Ray of Edinburg, Ms and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank her friends and neighbors James and Ella Huff for the love, care, and support they showed Lillian.

Graveside Services will be held Friday July 31st at 10:30 AM in Lindsey Cemetery, Walnut Grove Ms.
