Lexie C. Robinson

Lexie Robinson, age 70, a resident of the Clifton community died Friday, June 6, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from the chapel of the OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest with interment to follow in the Macedonia New Testament Cemetery with Bro. Eli Cooper officiating. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm on Monday, June 9, 2025, at the funeral home.

Lexie was the daughter of James and Mildred Wade. She was born on April 18, 1955. She was a stay-at-home mom and seamstress. She was an active member of Hillsboro Baptist Church where she taught many children’s classes and programs. She enjoyed volunteering her time at the Peace House, the Center of Hope, and the Forest Garden Club. “Nana Lexie” spent many years volunteering to read to classes at Scott Central, including puppets and costumes in her stories.

She was married to Bennie C Robinson of Clifton for 47 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings, Dallas Wade, Donnie Wade, David Wade, and Jerry Baldwin.

Survivors include her 3 children; Benjamin Joseph Robinson (Misty), Matthew Leo Robinson (Allison), and Lindsey Maude Warren (Brian), siblings, Lynne Ridgeway (Marc), Carol Beeland (Danny), Becky Chapman (Clark), and Dean Wade (Julie). She leaves a legacy of 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
