Mr. Larry James Pettigrew, 82, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026 at Choctaw Residential Center in Philadelphia, MS.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest from 9-11am, with the funeral service beginning at 11. Bro. Greg Pettigrew and Bro. Jerry Lundy will officiate. Burial will follow at Harperville Memorial Park.

Mr. Pettigrew lived most of his life in the Harperville and Forest communities, and was a member of Pea Ridge Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.E. and Emma Ruth Pettigrew; and his wife, Mary Agnes Pettigrew.

He leaves behind a son, Neil Pettigrew (Carol); two brothers, Gary Pettigrew and Kenny Pettigrew (Neva Jo); and two grandsons, Jesse and Luke Pettigrew.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse, Luke, Johnny, Danny, Dillon, and Delmer Pettigrew. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale King and Sammy Taylor.
