LeRoy Kennedy “Ken” Hall, 65, of Brandon, Mississippi, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 5, 2026.

Ken was born on August 27, 1960, in Jackson, Mississippi, to Donald and Ottris Hall. He attended Brandon High School and Mississippi State University. A land specialist and real estate broker, Ken owned and operated his three Mossy Oak Properties offices for 22 years, combining his love of the outdoors with helping others buy and sell land throughout Mississippi and Louisiana.

Ken was a member of Fannin Methodist Church and found great encouragement in its welcoming congregation and message of God’s grace.

An avid outdoorsman, Ken loved deer and dove hunting and fishing. He also had a lifelong love of music, especially country music, and enjoyed sharing good music with friends, whether at a live show, deer camp, or while playing guitar late into the evening.

Ken loved gardening, a passion he shared with his late father, and grew vegetables and giant sunflowers year after year. He took particular pride in his prize-winning homemade dill pickles. “You can’t buy these,” he’d say when someone asked to purchase a jar. Rarely without a jar or two to share, he was known to sweeten a business deal—or a friendship—with pickles from the back of his truck.

Ken was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hall. He is survived by his mother, Ottris Hall; his brother, Keith Hall; his sister, Kristie (David) McGee; four nieces and nephews and ten great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom will cherish his memory.

A funeral service will be held at Ott & Lee Funeral Home on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 2:30.  Burial will follow at Brandon Memorial Gardens.
