Karl Hager, Jr. age 55, and a resident of Forest, MS died Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Vicksburg, MS.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Morton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest from 12:30pm until 2:00pm on Monday.
Mr. Hager was born in San Diego, CA on June 16, 1970, to his parents Karl R. Hager, Sr. and Sharon Cahoon Hager. He later moved to Mississippi. He owned and operated a log truck rig. He was an outdoorsman, loved welding and mechanical work in his spare time. He loved being with family and friends. He had attended Hillsboro Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceded in death by his father and a great grandson Axel Russell.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ramona Watts Sessums Hager of Forest, his mother, Sharon Cahoon Holmes, and sister, Denise Moore, ten children; Kristina McDonald of Flowood, Stephanie Hager of Pelahatchie, Angel Roy of Brandon, Hunter Hager of Meridian, Abigail Hager, Aubrey Hager, and Karlie Holmes, all of Forest, Angel Purvis of Forest, Jessie King of Lena, and Michael Holmes of Carthage. He also leaves behind a legacy of 28 grandchildren of whom Brittney Russell (Jessie Matthew), Micah Purvis, Alaina Purvis, Sabrina Thornsberry, Aubrey Lynn Biggert, Bud King, Allison Self, and Chrissy King were very special in his life, and 2 great grandchildren all of whom he loved very much.
Pallbearers are Brad Wilcher, DeDe, Slick, Benny Biggart, Matthew Russell, and Thomas Bullock.
