Karen Eileen Tucker, of Pelahatchie, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in Brookhaven, Mississippi.

Karen was born on October 31, 1945, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to Eldon Richard Curtin and Carmen Milam Curtin. She spent her life serving others as a registered nurse, working at Rankin Medical Center and UMMC. She also shared her knowledge of helping others as an allied health teacher at Hinds Community College. She was a member of The Church at Shiloh, where she sang in the choir. She also loved the beach, gardening, and living life through her children.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jason Robbins; parents, Eldon and Carmen Curtin; and siblings, Ellen Wong and Richard Curtin, Jr.

Karen is survived by her son, Scott Robbins and his wife, Rebecca; step grandchildren, Chelsea Sevin (Brandon) and Ryan St. Martin (Courtnie); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 10:00 am at The Church at Shiloh.
