Joyce Ann DeMarco, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 91.

Joyce was born September 19, 1934, in Richmond, Virginia, to Randolph C. Burruss and Mabel Ferrel Burruss. A beloved mother and wife, she took great care in raising her children, stepchildren, and grandchildren. She was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Diane Frances Nichols; and her grandson, Joseph Vizcarrando.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Michael DeMarco; children, Carol Marie Lamey, Charles (Lorrie), Terry Compton (Barry), Bridgette Tulley (Jim), and Cidney Nielsen (Noah); stepchildren, Angela Dilmore, Michael DeMarco, Jr. and Frank Robert DeMarco; twelve grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
