Mrs. Jennings was born on Monday, August 31, 1931, to Mary Bell and George Shanklin in Humphreys County. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandkids. She was always willing to step in to provide childcare for the community and everyone wanted to claim her as their own mother. Her laugh was contagious and her light shined so bright. She will certainly be missed by her family, extended family and friends.
