Glenn Austin Loveless, Sr. passed away on November 3, 2026, in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born on July 21, 1959, in Picayune, Mississippi.
Glenn will be remembered as a faithful and devoted husband of 39 years, a loving father, and a doting grandfather. He was hard-working and ethical, and his wit and charm drew people to him.Glenn had the gift of gab; he would talk to anyone about anything. He was also known for his generosity and for the way he loved God and showed that faith through his actions.
Throughout his working life, Glenn owned and operated a paint and body shop for many years in Louisiana and Mississippi. Before retirement, he also opened an automobile dealership. He built his life through steady work and dedication, and those who knew him respected the way he carried himself in both business and daily life.
Some of Glenn’s happiest moments were spent with his family. He loved doing anything his grandchildren were interested in and involved in, and he took joy in being present for them. He also enjoyed a simple daily pleasure: coffee and a little piece of cake each day. These small routines and family moments helped define the warmth of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Loveless. He also leaves behind his daughter, Emily Loveless Lambert and her husband, Josh, and his son, Glenn Austin Loveless, II and his wife, Ashlee. Glenn was a proud grandfather to Caraline Lambert, Carleigh Lambert, Jackson Loveless, Ross Lambert, and John Loveless. He is also survived by his sisters, Connie McAlister and Tamela Golman, as well as several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was cherished by his family and his love for them will remain a lasting part of their lives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Jackson Loveless; his mother, Mary Magdelene Lumpkin Loveless; and his brothers, Wayne Loveless and Garland Loveless.
Visitation will be held on November 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home, 1360 W Government St, Brandon, Mississippi 39042.
