Mrs. Geraldine Owens Kyzar, age 71, a resident of Morton passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at her home in Morton.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm - 7 pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

2nd visitation will be held from 10 am - 11 am Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Mt. Olive Community Church on Highway 13 South, Morton, MS.

Church service will begin at 11am on Wednesday and graveside to follow in the church cemetery.

Dean Dean worked mostly in the school system as a member of the cafeteria team and eventually returned home to care for her parents, grandchildren and niece. Dean Dean was known mostly for her genuine kindness and loving personality. If she loved you, she loved hard and it was the best love. Dean Dean was an avid Elvis Presley and WWE fan. According to her, Elvis and Roman Reigns were her “men”. Besides her “men” she loved a horror movie or book, a good hot cup of coffee or a REAL Coke. She wouldn’t drink any of that “fake” stuff and you better not give her anything sugar free.

Dean Dean is survived by her two sons, Ricky Lynn Kyzar Sr. (Wanda) and Aaron Kyzar (Amanda), her eight grandchildren, Katie Kyzar Easterling (Nathan), Cody Renfroe, Angel Riguad (Bailey), Madison Kyzar, Ariel Kyzar, Alacia Porter (Andrew), Sean Creason, and Ricky Lynn Kyzar Jr., her one and only sibling, Tony Eugene Owens (Suzanne), her niece, Shay Waggoner (Adam), a host of great grandchildren whom she loved the most and last but not least, her two canine companions, Peanut and Festus. Dean Dean was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Earnest Thomas Owens and Annie Rae Easterling Owens.

Pallbearers will be Cody Renfroe, Todd Cooper, Tony Boyles, Chris Burt, Bailey Rigaud, Jason Easterling and Alan Prestage.

Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Easterling, Mitchell Easterling and Rocky Easterling.
