Georgianne Marie "Georgia" Delaney, 72, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, in Florence, Mississippi. Born on April 13, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, Georgia brought warmth and creativity into the lives of those around her throughout her life.

A gifted artist from a young age, Georgia found joy in drawing and sewing—expressions of her vibrant imagination and attention to detail. Her artistic talents were matched by a deep sense of adventure; she loved to travel and embraced every journey with enthusiasm, whether it was across the country or just around the corner. Later in life, she cherished spending time with her niece Sarah Mendez and Sarah’s family, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love.

Georgia’s presence was marked by kindness, compassion, humor, and talent. She had a unique ability to make others feel seen and valued. Her generous spirit touched many lives and left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

She is lovingly remembered by her niece and nephew Sarah and David Mendez and their children Brayden, Ryan, Kaleb, and Noah; her sister Patricia and brother-in-law Michael Malone; her nephew James and niece Sarah Malone along with their children Addison and Cullen; her sister Carol and brother-in-law Lloyd Adamski and their children Christine and Neal; as well as Frank Delaney Sr. and his children Frank Jr. and Erin Golis.
