Obituary

Mr. George Hallman Jr was born on June 16, 1941, to George and Inez Hallman of Burns, Mississippi.

As a young man, he proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Navy, a service he carried with great pride throughout his life.

Mr. George Hallman was affectionately known by Daddy George, Paw Paw George, and simply Daddy. He was happiest outdoors, whether he was fishing, checking on the cows, or tinkering in his shed. He loved staying busy and always seemed to have a project to work on.

Some of his favorite moments were the family gatherings that began when Mitch fired up the grill. Daddy George knew that before long, the family would arrive carrying side dishes and desserts, filling the home with laughter, love, and fellowship.

At the end of the day, he could usually be found resting in his recliner with his dogs curled up in his lap. In recent years, he found a special companion in his great-grandson. From the very beginning, the two shared a unique bond, often sneaking snacks to one another when no one was looking.

Daddy George will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. We ultimately find peace and comfort in knowing that we will see him again one day.
