Dennis A. Baker, 87, of Brandon, Mississippi passed away November 8, 2024. Dennis was born July 2, 1937 to Merritt Albirtis and Effie Evelyn Baker. He served in the Navy as a corpsman. He was the owner of Dennis A. Baker Construction. He loved his family, demonstrated to his sons a strong work ethic, and enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends at The Club/Complete Fitness in Brandon. Dennis was proceeded in death by his wife, Donna Baker, parents, and siblings Milton Baker, Iris Green, and Thelda Pettit. He is survived by sons Mike Baker of Port Gibson and Scott Baker (Lindsay) of Brandon, grandchildren Jensen Baker and Jewel Baker.
Pallbearers will Joe Busick, Marc Hardy, Rodger Pardue, Dewight Roper, Jeff Swilley, and John Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley Baker, Tony Page, and friends of The Club/Complete Fitness.
A graveside service will be held November 12, 2024, 10:00 A.M. at Lakewood Memorial Park, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209. Ott and Lee Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
