Charles
Binkley
Jan 20, 1947 — Jul 8, 2026
Brandon
Charles Adam Binkley, 79, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior in July 8, 2026 in Brandon, Mississippi. He was born on January 20, 1947, in Wayne, Michigan, to the late Clyde Homer Binkley and Ruby Turner Binkley.
Charles was a Christian man whose faith in God served as the foundation of his life. He believed in God's grace, cherished his family, and found comfort in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Though his earthly journey has ended, those who knew and loved him rejoice in the assurance that he is now at peace in his heavenly home.
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved son, Tad Allen Binkley; his father, Clyde Homer Binkley; his mother, Ruby Turner Binkley; his sisters, Francis Brown, Marie Ferguson, and Helen Hamilton; his brothers, Patrick Binkley and Albert Binkley; and his nephew, whom he loved as a son, Michael Joshua Jenkins.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 37 years, Dottie Delores Binkley. He is also survived by his sons, Gregory Adam Binkley (Stevie) and Bradley Andrew Binkley (Amber), both of Brandon, Mississippi.
Charles was a proud and loving grandfather to Trinity Taylor Binkley, Brelyn Lovett Binkley, Annalyse Brooke Binkley, Tanner Allen Binkley, Aubrey Claire Binkley, Bristal Eve Binkley, and Benjamin Robert Bahr. His grandchildren brought him great joy, and he treasured every opportunity to spend time with them.
He is also survived by his sister, Peggy Chestnut of Pearl, Mississippi; numerous nieces and nephews; his very special friends, former wife Barbara Ann Binkley, Gayle Corley, and Gracie Jane, all of Brandon, Mississippi; and his cherished Park Place family, whose love and friendship meant so much to him.
Charles will be remembered for his steadfast faith, his love for his family, and the kindness he extended to those around him. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the family he loved so deeply, and the faith he carried throughout his life.
While his absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, his family finds comfort in the words of Scripture: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness..." (2 Timothy 4:7–8).
The family takes comfort in knowing that Charles has heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant," and now rests in the eternal peace of his Savior. His memory will forever be treasured, and he will remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love him.
