Mrs. Carol Dawn McCrory, age 57, a resident of Morton, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at UMMC Hospital in Jackson, MS.

Visitation will be held 5pm - 8pm Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton and a 2nd visitation will be held on Thursday from 10am - 11am at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 11am from the Ott and Lee Chapel in Morton.

Graveside will follow at Hodge Hill Cemetery.

Carol Dawn ( McKinney) McCrory of Morton, MS passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026, from a long battle with cancer. She was born on July 25, 1969, in Rogers, Arkansas to Donald and Gelene McKinney.

Carol enjoyed many things in life, especially her fur babies and traveling the country with the love of her life. She loved to be outside planting and tending to her flowers. She had a love of music and was a life long band nerd.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Gelene McKinney. 

She is survived by her husband, Roy McCrory, of 36 years, one brother, Russell (Tonnie) Ruttan of Rogers, Arkansas, 2 sisters, Sandra (Henry) Snoderly of Avoca, Arkansas and Kathie (Mark) Graham of Bentonville, Arkansas, a sister in law, Lisa McCrory Till,  2 sons, James McCrory and Jim McCrory, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, October 7th at  Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, Mississippi from 5:00pm till 8:00pm. 

The funeral service will be held October 8th at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home Morton at 11:00am.

Graveside will follow at Hodge Hill Cemetery.
