Brenda Lynn Tedder O'Cain, 61, a resident of Carthage, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2026. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th from 11-1pm at Forest Grove Presbyterian Church, with the funeral service starting at 1pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Brenda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family and her grandbabies. She was a kindhearted person who loved her pets, most of whom were rescue animals. She found relaxation in keeping herself busy with games, plants, and enjoyed watching her favorite movie, Nightmare Before Christmas. 

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Rollan Lee Tedder and Betty Maxine Tharp Tedder. 

She is survived by her husband, Jerry O'Cain; two children, Kayla Zunich (Matthew), and Jerry O'Cain Jr (Crystal); two brothers, Rodger and Rick (Kathy) Tedder; one sister, Rhonda Catrell (Paul); and five grandchildren, Tyler, Caiden, and Braiden O'Cain, and Ashlyn and Kadence Pearson.
