Arthur R. Hendricks, 68, a resident of Batesville, MS, passed away Thurs. Aug. 17, 2017 in Houston, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. Aug. 20, 2017 from 2pm-4pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Mon. Aug. 21, 2017 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Mr. Hendricks was born in Phoenixville, PA, was a longtime resident of Brandon, MS and was currently a resident of Batesville, MS where he attended First Baptist Church. Mr. Hendricks enjoyed working in his yard, playing dominos and bingo, and enjoyed watching wrestling. He loved being outdoors, especially going hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Iris Hendricks; daughter, April H. Layton (Christopher); step children, Shane Hendricks, Dewayne Barrett and Pam Fitzgerald; 11 grandchildren, Christopher Layton Jr., Bethanie Layton, Brady Fitzgerald, Sommer Fitzgerald, Abigail Thornton, Daniel Fitzgerald, Dakota Barrett, Austin Barrett, Brianna Barrett, Wyatt Barrett and Alec Campbell; sister, Joan Oanoreaux and his brothers, John Hendricks, Bob Hendricks and Eddie Hendricks. Mr. Hendricks is preceded in death by his father and step mother, Morris and Hazel Hendricks; mother, Mary Townsend Hendricks and a brother, Morris Hendricks Jr.
