Mrs. Parkman was born in Leake County on December 18, 1945. She enjoyed going to Lake Washington on fishing trips. Iona loved being outdoors and enjoyed going camping with her family. When her health allowed she served and worked with the organizations of Horses with Handicapped, Burn Victim Rides and Horses Helping Cancer Patients. She loved her own horses and the whole family enjoyed going riding with their horses and wagons. She even had Draft horses that she could handle herself. Iona loved her family very much and she will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
