Tommy Lee Vanderford, 58, a resident of Puckett, MS, passed away Thurs. Nov. 2, 2017 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Fri. Nov. 3, 2017 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. and on Sat. Nov. 4, 2017 from 2pm-2:45pm at Puckett Baptist Church in Puckett, MS. Funeral Services are 3pm on Sat. Nov. 4, 2017 at the Puckett Baptist Church with burial in the Puckett Cemetery.
Mr. Vanderford was born in Smith County, MS and was a lifelong resident of Rankin County, MS. He was a member of Puckett Baptist Church and was the owner of S & L Plumbing.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rhonda Vanderford; son, Shane Vanderford (Michaela); daughter, Leah Vanderford; parents, Rufus and Betty Vanderford; two sisters, Kathy McWilliams and Cindy Hudson and two brothers, Kenny Vanderford and Rudy Vanderford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Atten: Memorial Honor Program at 1 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38148.
