Mrs. Cleola Latham

January 31, 1932 — October 13, 2017

Mrs. Cleola "Sis" Latham age 85, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 in Jackson, MS.  Visitation was held from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton and again on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 1:45 pm. Funeral Services were held 2:00 pm Sunday, October 15, 2017 in the Chapel of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial to be held at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Forkville, MS.

Mrs. Latham was known as Sis to everyone in the community and she was born in Scott County to Mr. W.C. and Lozelle Risher Wall, on January 31, 1932.  She loved her flowers, gardening, fishing, and cooking.  She loved her family and enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren.  She was a loving, and caring person. She was very gentle and easy going.  She loved the holiday seasons and was very family oriented and loved being with her family.  She was a member of her church choir and was at church every time the doors were opened.  She had a good sense of humor, very funny and had an infectious laugh.  Her family loves her very much.

Sis was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. W.C.  and Lozelle Wall; her brothers, Oneal Wall, Houston Wall, Junius Wall; her sisters, Betty Jo Wall, Hazel Lee Wall.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Rayford Latham; her sons, Kenneth (Sharon) Latham of Lena, Richard (Julie) Latham of Lena, David (Theresa) Latham of Lena; her sisters, Zelle Manning, Peggy Kimes, Billie Irby; her brothers, W.C. "Pete" Wall, Danny Wall; her nine grandchildren; and her eleven great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, family and friends .

Serving as pallbearers were Jason Latham, Erik Latham, Justin Latham, Shawn Dawson, Dusty Bates, Jason Elliott, and Blake Renfroe.

Arrangements entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home Morton.
