Bobbie Louise Ellzey Harding, 88, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS.  Visitation will be 6-8pm on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Graveside services will be at 2pm Friday November 17, at Evergreen Gardens Cemetery in Gulfport, MS.

Mrs. Harding was born in Mendenhall, MS on February 1, 1929 to LeRoy Ellzey and Tina Louise Welch Ellzey.  She was a member of Forest Hill United Methodist Church in Jackson, MS and she shared responsibility with her husband as a youth director for many years.

Mrs. Harding enjoyed painting, making ceramics, traveling and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Edgar O. Harding; children, William LeRoy Harding (Bobbi) of Baltimore, MD, Dr. Dwight Edgar Harding of Starkville, MS, Darlene Harding Epple (Richard) of Pearl , MS and Theresa Harding Reno (Steve) of Byram, MS; sisters, Willie Jane “Bill” Magnan and Lucille McCormick (Donald); 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Methodist Children’s Home of Mississippi, P.O. Box 66, Clinton, MS 39060.
